First of all, I would like to thank BankrollMob for my 5,000 point Mob Draw win...
"Thank You BankrollMob.com....These are generous offerings to us members...!!!"
Now,....this is where some problems arise in actually receiving the funds...
As I mentioned in the other thread... According to British law, Skrill NOW recognizes BankrollMob.com as being a 'Gaming Website' and will NO longer process any transactions between the two for us Canadians...
The cashout options from BrM are limited to:
Neteller,
Skrill, and
PartyPoker
Obviously Skrill is out of the equation,...and I don't want to hook up with PartyPoker as FT and PS are the only 2 sites I want to play on...
This leaves Neteller...
Problem there too is,...PokerStars does not process cashout transactions TO Neteller for Canadians...
...AND there is NO option to cashout from BankrollMob to Instadebit....

I have a MasterCard,...which apparently is an option to cash out FROM PokerStars...
...BUT,...as I mentioned,...cashing out FROM BrM to PokerStars is now a problem...
I'm thinking I might have to cashout to Neteller first,...then to PokerStars,...then from PS to whatever after that should I choose to return money home...

Posted by bowie1984: Dude, go to your local bank office, and try them to exchange your card to VISA Gold or whatnot. Im not familiar with the canadian economic system, but that option even avaliable for us (lowly middle europeans) and it only take a week or so until your new card arrives. Even the yearly fee is almost the same as in Mastercard. Theres no harm there, everything remains the same only you have the other card provider give you assistance in buying and banking and so on. Ask your bank where your accounts been opened.
You are misunderstanding the point my friend.....
BrM does NOT send money from BrM TO a credit card....(as far as I know)
..it's cashing out FROM BrM is what is the problem....
Also,....a David Bowie fan are you...? He's one of my all time faves too... I saw him on his Serious Moonlight tour back in about 1983 or thereabouts... Stevie Ray Vaughn on guitar! KILLER concert...!!!
The Tubes opened,...followed by Peter Gabriel,...then Bowie headlining
Alladin Sane (in your avatar as you know) is a great album among others,...but my fave from him is HEROES

G'day mate
Alert! Alert! Two things...
1st. Neteller is a very bad option. I am a fellow Canadian as you already know. My last BRM cash out was made to Neteller and although it was just before the January rules change I was unable to transfer the funds any farther. The Canadian Government requires Neteller to have every Canadian user of there to be verified in a very specific format before they are legally allowed to give us our money from them. I have tried to get verified and still have NOT be able to meet all the requirements fully. I have $54.60 sitting on Neteller and can NOT cash it out!
2nd. Visa & Mastercards can NOT be used in Canada to make online poker deposits! There is a ruling by the Canadian Government cartel and the banking cartels with prohibit credit cards to be used to make or receive deposits to or from gaming or gaming type sites. The only way around this is to purchase prepaid 1 used cards to make deposits with but only certain prepaid cards actually work. If you want to make a deposit I suggest you look into buying a Ukash ticket from any Canadian post office outlet or Ukash outlet and deposit that way. Make sure however that regardless of where you buy your Ukash ticket that it is in CANADIAN funds or PokerStars will NOT accept it for a Canadian resident. I have been fighting this fight since before Xmas 2013 and you would not believe the hassles I have already navigated through. I wish you the very best be cool

as far as i understand you still can use skrill in canada- just that you cannot handle any gambling related funds right? if this is the case then another option would be to withdraw to some "reliable" brm member's skrill account and then he can ship you those funds back to your skrill account: and money would come not from gaming related site, but from some random dude.

Thanks for the info Ronin...!
Are you able to deposit money from your Neteller into PokerStars...?
If so,...maybe I'll set up a Neteller account

Honestly why dont you open up your PS software and looking into what all the deposit options offered for you on PS. If you have that answer then we might be able to help you further.
I've done that... but it doesn't matter about PS.... The problem is....getting the $50 FROM BrM TO PokerStars now that Skrill is no longer an option...
I would choose Neteller,...but Ronin is telling me his cash is tied up there and he can't get it out... I'm waiting for him to tell me if it's possible for him to DEPOSIT to PS from Neteller...
I would choose Instadebit immediately as my compatriots have mentioned,...but I can't get money THERE from BrM...

Posted by bowie1984: Then open a goddamn Neteller acc... Or a Party.poker one. Cashout onto one of them. See the deposit options on PS. Then you proceed to the one where the above two are match. Boom you're done.
I am not understanding what you are not understand. Again, write the avaliable depo options into this topic, and we will saw what sort of hassle you going to get through.
If you have Neteller or Paypal as an option, i might able to help you. Neteller verification is not that anal as ronin painting it out.
Dude....something must be getting lost in translation....
Ronin says he can't release his cash from Neteller....
PayPal is not an option for Canadians as they too will not process gaming site transactions for North Americans....

Man, just read all this, since when did our country become so lame (January, I know )
One possibility might be if Party has a Player to player transfer, you withdraw to Party. Then maybe someone with funds on both sites could give you Stars chips in exchange for Party bucks. I have accounts with both, no funds at Starts currently but if you're in a jam I'll try help out.
Also, this is getting pretty worrying, I'm going to have to start getting my funds in order and chatting with poker site supports and payment processors.
Also: So lame your funds are held up Ronin, and thanks a million for the heads up so the rest of us don't get stuck too.

hey demo I see you only like stars and tilt, but the easy way to get your money is to open a party account, transfer from brm to your party account , then transfer it to your bank. the money from brm is unrestricted , so you don't haver to play with it. the last time I won the draw thats what I did.

If so,...I might be able to send my MobDraw winnings to PartyPoker,...then to Instadebit,....although, I'm sure PartyPoker would require a deposit FROM Insta before they would ever send some money back there... Mmmmmmmmm...

It looks like Neteller is NOT an option either...
I registered and on step 3,...THIS is what popped up:
Important information for members in Canada Recent policy changes at NETELLER mean that members in Canada will no longer be able to transfer funds to or from online gambling websites using our service.
However, you can still use your account to:
•Send and receive money from individuals using our secure Money Transfer service •Use a Net+ Prepaid MasterCard® for ATM, Point of Sale, online purchases

It looks like El Dictatore Harpero,...and his little revenue minister minion Flaherty have put an END to all this....

Congratulations for your win.
The only way to get your money then, will be by transferring it to Party Poker and then go from there with their available options. But better request it as soon as you can, cause some times it needs a while for the specific transfer.

It's looking like the ONLY option at this point crash...!

So now it looks like either Instadebit,...OR Visa (hopefully an online virtual card IS available for Canadskiy) are the best options for shifting cash around between poker sites...
At least with Visa,...buying stuff on eBay or whatever could be good to go...
Maybe I'll sign up with Instadebit...
One good thing about this thread, is at least any Canadians reading it will have a better idea of the remaining options...
There's no problem cashing out from PokerStars,.....JUST getting the Mob Point cashout TO PS...
Hello again demodawggy,
Thank you for your follow-up.
No, you are correct, I am wrong! Please accept my apologies for this oversight.
MasterCard is available just to deposits in Canada.
To cash out you will have just this methods available:

yes party also has instadebit all you have to do is reg with them, they will send 2 small deposits to your bank account, confirm the deposits , then you can withdraw into their site. you don't have to make a deposit at party, just confirm your bank account.
