Trying to learn this game, and am after a bit of help, 1, Do you know of a site that gives no-deposit on backgammon (no affiliate) 2, is it best to block the "outs", dont know the proper term, (when u have a piece that needs to enter), or best to get out of thier side of the board(sorr my terms are bad) any tips welcome as i am new to backgammon

blocking their entry does allow you to an advantage if it works. It will allow you some free rolls to get your own pieces around the board quickly but once you start to count out its dangerous because they can come in on singles and mess you up for awhile.
