I tried to stretch the money as much as possible, so it was all non-perishable goods that were mostly on sale. I picked up a box of fruit juice bottles, tea, precooked rice, pasta, pasta sauce, canned vegetables, canned meats, canned fruits, some boxes of cookies. A little of everything so that they can put together a couple of baskets.
