Lol you remember right  I was born in amsterdam, lived there for 27 years, great city.
Was barkeeper for 3 years yeah yeah yeah luv my amsterdam 
Places you must see:
- Leidse plein: Just sit there outside drinking a beer look at the passing people and beautifull girls 
- Red light district: (near central station) Go on the day and in the evening, completely different place on the day and the evening, experience yourself 
- Amsterdam ZOO: Nice zoo, historical, really big, you have to see a whole day.
- Madam thussaud: Not my peace of cake but everybody go there so....
- Museums: Rembrandt, van Gogh ect (not for me lol)
- Rent a bike: Great way to experience whole amsterdam, absolutely must

Btw amsterdam has a holland casino at leidse plein.
Not great in poker but nice place

Btw if you want party go to leidse plein or rembrandtplein.
Nice bardancings or clubs ect
