In the latest consolidation move in the poker world PKR has announced to join the Microgaming network later this month. They will keep their unique 3D clientsoftware, but their player base will be merged with the players at the Microgaming sites.

This is an interesting move, but with PKR at 38th on the list compared to MPN at 10th, and jointly they will be 8th, just behind PartyPoker, you can see why it makes sense to,PKR. It will be interesting to see the difference and whether it makes life any better for PKR players.

Its a while since i last heard about PKR here. Microgaming was a thriving network at some point. Then many sites fled. It will add to their database that is for sure, and will keep microgaming still up. I wonder if they will manage to stay on business after all as a network.

Yep. Microgaming is one if the big makers of poker and casino software. So the network is only a bonus. There were far to many sites on that network, that failed in the past, for my taste, tho.
