Easy there, sheriff. You post in a public forum....!
The phonenumber your friend has entered has been looked up as "Non-Fixed VOIP" and we don't allow that kind of phonetypes to be used. Last time somebody contacted us and said he couldn't do phone verification with his cellnumber, and also got the "invalid error", we contacted our phone provider. It turns out they were unable to connect to the phone, so we contacted the user to verify the number was correct - days went by, no reply. Then I looked up his account and suddenly he had completed the phone verification but removed a single digit from his phonenumber, so it really looked like the number he was trying to use that was "invalid", didn't even exist..... My point is, if the phonenumber is real and legit and is from a landline or cellphone, then it's VERY rare that problems occur.

Posted by RIPStuNov22: Not true, it is a contract cell phone issued by Telus Mobility. I have copies of his bill to prove it.
------------ My referral has now sent you an email with a copy of the phone bill to show that it is NOT a VOIP.
Nothing we can do about it. If the provider says its VOIP then it's not allowed and it can't get through. BUT, if it is in fact a mobilenumber, then we will of course contact our provider and hopefully they can "fix something" so that it's being looked up as a mobilephone and therefor allowed access.
