Really, that sucks, i was going to start a thread to try and find out clicks to sign up ratio, i know it would vary a lot, ive only had 30 clicks on my link for one dud sign up so yeah, back to the drawing board for me maybe.

Thanks for that admin, nice to get a reason, as for clicks to sign up ratio, i suppose it would depend on where you advertise, lik if youe not advertising in specialst poker forum or site then most clicks are just curious people, maybe, as you all know im no expert. lol

Thanks I worked hard on it. I like it since I have no fees for the site and I make a few bucks here and there. I think the next step for my site is getting my own domain name, hopefully I find a cool cheap one on ebay. I could always register geneyuss.com but I was thinking of something with poker in the domain name.
Anyway, good luck getting your 1st approved refferral.

yeah my sites s**t, i paid for mine as well, i have plenty of time at the moment due to being a stay at home dad but i dont have the know how, but im learning as i go.
------------ Just got my 2nd sign up, hopefully she goes through, im getting a lot of hits at the moment, over 300 on my web site this week, which is heaps for me, only 2 weeks old, im not sure where there all comming from, i have an active meter but its not working, oh well cant complain.

300 a week is pretty good. I get ~30 unique visits per day and ~65 page views per day. 90% of them coming from google search. I got free hosting and free domain.
Only problems; -200 max viewers at my website at one time(not a problem right now) -my domain name has the hosting website's name in it
How much do you pay for your website?
I want to have a members area to my site, sounds hard but I think I can do it

$200AU or $115US all up, including traffic blazer which gives you $50 credit at yahoo, facebook, google, allthough none are poker friendly, it all so submits you to tons of directories/search engines each month, domain name, hosting, and a 5 page web site which you can create your own forums, templates, ect ect, its all through go daddy. thats for 1 yr.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking of buying a domain from godaddy but I was also thinking off buying an existing domain off ebay. You have $50 credit for placing adds? I do all the promoting myself, I'm pretty lazy though lol. My website is actually a blog, the good thing about it's easy to make a post and the posts add up. I think I have 122 posts, its good for keywords.
Can you set up a member's area on your site?
By the way, I use sitemeter to track my visitors, good free gadget. I can check what they searched google to get to my site, the out clicks, what country they're from etc.

yeah i got site meter, i think i fucked up setting it up, im awaiting a reply from them. and with traffic blazer you get i think 3 vouchers, but you need a credit card to activate them, and with google adwords and facebook they dont like poker or gambling sites so there useless to me, i havnt used the yahoo one yet but id think it would be the same, and you can set up a forum so im guessing you can set up a members area, not really sure, PS what do you mean by "posts" sorry but i am a complete novice at this.

Did sitemeter get back to you? It's a nice tool to check visitors. The vouchers won't let you do Poker adds? That totally sucks. I know google adsense has poker adds, you don't have vouchers for google adsense? Do you have a credit card? I got visa from my bank, no fees and a lot safer to carry around than money.
My website is kind of like a diary. Everytime I feel like it, I can make a post in my diary lol. Than I can hyperlink to old diary posts.
so my signup ratio aint that good
