i am the same as you and for us luck comes first and then knowledge and skills. For professional players skills are in power and luck comes in second place. They make money easier because to strategies and skills.

If you saw the crazy hand that made me lost in a 109$ tourney , I mean you would never say to me again to believe that skill is more important in online poker . He tanked a lot , then he shoved with nothing on the flop , he needs runner runner , and rng gave it to him . With KQ he got a straight in the turn and river winning my triple A set on the flop .

These hands are unreal . These players are unreal .you cannot win against these players . And they are far too many online . Winning against these guys seems impossible . Either poker room bots or I don't know what they are . Unreal

These cases I see everyday online , so there skill is not the most important factor to become eventually big winner . Let's tell the truth to recreationals and new players . .I played some 109$ games or tourneys on Bwin and Stars , the exit hands were un-fu**ing-believable !!!

that must happen when software deal cards! you must get sick hands from time to time!

Its a 109$ tourney , not a 0.11c or a $1 tourney or sat . 109$ tourney man . If you play KQo oop that crazy way on the flop and you get runner runner in the turn anc river and you win , then this not just crazy , its a scam . Poker room bot , superuser or sth else ??

Anyway this kind of hands make you sick of playing poker , like i am nowadays . So when sb tells me that it is only skill that matters online , well i am unable to believe him . Its crazy alien speech .

No matter how big ticket is, it can happen on any tournament, sit and go...

Those things happend what can you do. If you care too much about 109 dollar ticket go play when you are comftarble to loose. Becouse loosing is part of poker and being sucked out is part of poker. If you will not accept that you will always tilt and could not succes in this game. Fact.

this year i won some tickets for 16.50, 33, 55, 109 and 215 dollars. I think i got one for $330 this year or maybe at the end of 2023, but i didn't lose with bad beats. I lost the games with acceptable cards.

I won far too many tickets last year and this year . I won almost nothing .so i play now less and less sats or lower paths or challenges or promotions. If they font steal your money , then they steal your tome. No money or time to spare to cheaters . Cheaters and stupid rng are dominant , skill cannot help you much

Ticket doesnt guarantee that you will get better cards or anything else!

We always have a skill that we highlight, and in poker it is no exception, we will always improve our poker skills year after year, if you study much more this is in the medium term, bankroll management is very important in poker.

I lost do many sunday million and sunday party tourneys , with so cr***y hands , that now i have no mood to start playing seriously again . I was accumulating so many tickets in bwin and pokerstars and ACR , then i decided to play them all , i won almost nothing . Very disappointing . Loss of time

I know i am not one of the good poker players , not even an average , but i have enough skill to play at the nano or micro or low stakes . I am being fu***d constantly by rng and fake poker-stars or joker-stars . The stupid hands that cost me to loss all these expensive tickets hd nothing to o do with my skill or the skill of the opponents that busted my ass out . Complete scam

So..."The dominance of skill in online poker " ??? Laughable .....

In the end, in the long term, skill is what will determine how good you are, it is always like that, that is why to exploit that talent you have to practice a lot, poker, like everything in life, has its luck factor but it is nothing more than luck. ability.

It's great to have skills and strategies, but unfortunately when the software is against you, you lose a lot of hands to weak players, and that costs you the game and you lose your buy-in. I prefer games to be fair and players to be respected.

Online you have to study the game wt the tables , how the others play and how they apply the poker knowledge about pot odds , equity or anything else when they have to face rng . Trying to manipulate rng , play by its rules , is the secret . Then you will be the winner in many of it's pre fixed action hands , and your best move will win . Or else you will be losing in coin flips most of the times or face bad beats from joker stars

I don't have a problem with the players, but with the software that is destructive and blocks me from having good performances. For example, yesterday i played in a 215 dollars tournament and i only took 3 hands in two hours and 25 minutes, because the software gave me the worst cards. I got QQ , i was forced to play all in and i lost with a K on the river. The software destroyed my dream of succeeding more in poker, not the players. This problem has always been.

Skill is always important when playing high-level poker. But there is also a part of luck where sometimes nothing comes out even if you have played the hand correctly, in the end time will prove you right.

All words in posts from high stakes poker players...

We are talking for online poker , not generally poker , not love poker . Online poker is different from live poker in many aspects . You don't need to be a pro , a high stakes player to notice this . So skill is not so important in online poker in comparison to live poker . RNG has many imperfections , many leaks . This makes online poker playing problematic many times
