Just a second - minor updates
------------ Done! New updates to the forum uploaded:
* New frontpage, now contains 20 last updated threads, and link to "next 20".
* A new thread can now be added no matter where one is located in the forum
* From the frontpage, clicking the "Today" or "Yesterday" text will show the last message in the thread, directly on the frontpage! (I've never seen this is any other forum, maybe because it's a bad idea... Let me know if any changes/improvements are needed!)
* Quote-button updated to use the same system as the "reply" button. (Edit button will be next, for this update).
(The "chars: xxx" text is just temporary - don't mind it).

im2good4u, Yeah I agree on the quote button, sometimes the text button can become a bit too small. Will look into this, probably make it "dynamic" somehow. For now, I will add a few lines to the reply box.
As for the frontpage-preview thingy, you know, where the thread subject is, just below is a time indication (today, yesterday, or a date) and a username). If you click the time indication, it should show a preview, like on my screenshot here.

This is a VERY VERY neat feature! Nice idea!!
On the reply box, being "dynamic" means it would auto adjust depending on the number of characters "quoted" right? Or would it let us resize the reply box?

The bosses are not too happy about the PM thing. It can easily be mis-used to recruit users/players to competeting sites. The only way we can stop it, is to have our support guys go trough every PM sent, and that would probably be complicated.
We do plan, however, to make an automated filter that will remove certain words, like if somebody tries to link to a competeting site or write bad words, it will be replaced with **** . Of course, such system can easily be integrated into PM's as well, but then people will just write it with spaces or another way of spelling etc.
So until we find a way to make sure it's not gonna come around and bite us in the behind, then PM's wont be an option.
And some might argue "who would do that?!" - well, earlier today a guy spammed our forum with over 40 messages containing " " - and this guy even uploaded ID to his account, so unless he's a fraud, then we know exactly who it is. When people will make a fool out of themselves that way, then they will certainly also do it if they can recruit players to their own site.

How about in the "forum profile" (when you click the name/nick) put some personal thread there, so we can communicate that way but still public to avoid spams
