We all know that poker has a lot to do with luck but also skill. But not all pro gamblers are poker players. So I was thinking is it possible to make money via strategy more than luck on games like blackjack, roulette, dice and slots.

I recently tried a casino no deposit bonus for the first time. it was that 2009 dollar one which I see is a complete rip off because it gives you money if you win or lose and you always have to deposit to get your hands on any of it.

Anyway I'd thought of a strategy I'd try. It seemed so simple so I knew there'd have to be a catch, otherwise everyone would do it. Betting on red on roulette has almost a fifty percent chance. My plan was to double my bet every time I lost so when I win I'd be up by my original bet. Then as soon as I was up I'd start with the minimum bet again. Since the chances of winning were fifty/fifty I figured I'd be up at least every fourth hand. I'd then slowly make money.

bet 10 - win 20 - finish ten up.
bet 20 - total bets of 30 - win 40 - finish ten up
bet 40 - total bets of 70 - win 80 - finish ten up etc...

But there was of course a catch. First of all it was far too boring, increasing steadily but slowly. Tempted to start higher than the min bet and reached the max bet far too quickly. After four consecutive loses - rare but not that rare - the system was screwed cos I couldn't bet to make back the enormous loss.

So I moved onto the slots. Tried to make my money back as fast as possible boom or bust. But I was surprised to see the jackpots are very low. I don't see the appeal of online slots at all. In real casinos the slots attract you with lights and sounds. Lost all my pocket money in the slots on holiday when I was a kid. But these online slots. you only have to keep clicking no looking required and you've got no idea how to win. There ain't even any nudges or holds.

In real life of course the way to make money off the bandits, is to sit in a pub and watch them fill up but you can't do that online can you? So it must be impossible to win consistently unless you're the worlds luckiest person.

Moving on to blackjack. A little more skill involved but it isn't poker is it? Does anyone here make money on blackjack?

Please share your comments and strategies on how to win in the casino. I'm inclined to say it can't be done. the casino is the only winner.

Naturely. All games have a house edge build in.

So without a bonus it is allways -ev to play

The roulette thing is quite old.
Some casinos wont let U bet more then X times on the same color.

Roulette is fun, when U really want to put a huge gamble on.
But don't expect or play for win, but more for the fun.
When I play roulette sometimes in casino's, I just follow the whales and huge gamblers ( those that place 500€ at once and walk away from the table. I just place my bets on whatever they put it on.
Worked for me a couple times and walked away with 2K once.

As for as I am concerned for slots : I dont even bother. I did it once placed 400€ on autospin, and ended up wit 0.

Blackjack depends
Single player, or with other players at the table.
If U go to a casino with bad BJ players, 80% guarantee your cards won't come.
Online, never tried it

I knew my strategy wasn't revolutionary or anything. I guessed before I'd started it had been tried and failed before but I was intrigued to how the casinos stopped it. I agree roulette may be fun in an actual casino but essentially its nothing more than a lottery with better odds. Which make's playing it a waste of money.
