Guy #1 won. At 9pm there were only 4 persons IN the restaurant, and that was the bet. There should be any discussion at this point. Its like playing poker at real table with a friend, being Guy #1 KK against Guy 2# AA and the guy who's dealing cards puts a K at the river. Guy #1 says "i won" and Guy #2 says "sorry, but the croupier forgot to take one out, that should have been that K". Both agree, croupier takes the K off the table, draw a new river (doesn't matter) and guy #2 wins. "Who has the best five card combination wins", that was the bet!

The fact they were stood outside is irrelevant. You could argue where they were stood was on Restaurant property and therefore they were within the confines of hte restaurant.
Did they leave anything on the table ? If so then they clearly were present merely not sat at the table, which isnt the argument that was made. It wasnt how many people were sat at a table withing hte restaurant itself, it was how many customers would be htere, and there were 5 customers albeit they were not sat at the table... A customer is a customer, no matter where hes stood.
I would have to argue against u. The bet said IN the restaurant not on restaurant property. It's like saying betting how much ppl will be IN ur house at 9pm if there is 5 of u there and 1 person when outside at 8:59pm. The guy that went outside was not IN ur house at 9:00pm he does not count because IN implies inside not outside or around or on property. This implies that only 4 of u were IN aka inside ur house at 9:00pm. Does this make sense? If not explain why.
So what if he was in the toilet or just entering the foyer ?
If someone comes to my door at 9pm whether they are physically inside my house or stood on the porch knocking, they are still at my house and therefore would be classed as present..
Yes but the question specifically states how much IN not AT the restaurant. Votes tell it all anyways most ppl voted for #1

Mmm sounds great, next time set a new final time clarify the conditions and buy another round of Cisk
------------ More beer=problem solved
Cisk is good... one pint is enough for dinner though
Apparently not
Jokes a side I actually prefer water or sodas for the food and beers/drinks/shots afterwards which results in me drinking Cola for the dinner and all the guys laughing at me while having a bottle of wine.
