Ok here it is. I think it is a topic which should be talked about (if not for some good reason then for points) Agree

I think noone should copy their play from the book. Seen that too many times playing and that play is easily beaten and read through. But upgradin your play with facts how should you react in situations where youre not so certain what to do it can help you alot. I dont think Doyle Brunson read any books at all but he is from US and he probably played too many poker hands in his youth so he got best education possible. Im from Europe and in my country poker is just taking grounds. Not many chances to play poker, few friends and casinos. Thats it.

Cool, I agree. Anything you can do to evolve your playing skills is a positive thing. So if there is a book about the subject, why not read it. Thumbs Up

Books great to learn and inhance your play in tough situations..

ill look into a couple good poker books and post the titles and or any key points in here... but for the most part i think anything from brunsen would be pure gold...

or gus hansen (not sure if he has any out there) same with Mr. Phil Ivey

Im in too...of course you should learn from the best. No matter how good a player you are, im sure a guy like Doyle or Gus for that sake can make you even better.

@xxx Gustav Hansen has a book out and dvd's, you can watch his dvd's on youtube if you can live with the size. It's mostly about tourney game, he has many good advices and alot of gambling theroy which is very strong Smile

hey thanx for that i would of guessed he had a book but im not sure.. and ill have to check out his dvds cuz i a pretty big fan of his..

awhat about Ivey.. do you no any books by him?
