Hi all. I'm moving to France for a year starting the end of this month and I would kind of like to continue playing poker. Thing is my laptop has got so slow recently i'm so close to throwing it against the wall. Anyway I'm getting a new laptop before I go and I'm considering a Mac. I've only used one a few times in Uni and it took some getting used to. But one draw is that I've heard they don't get viruses. I've only had my windows laptop for two and a half years and its practically useless. My anti-virus and clean-up software seem to do nothing. They come up with the same things every scan even though I tell it to fix the problem or delete this file. I've tried deleting all my unnecessary programs, I've tried de-fragmenting it. So I wonder if a mac works any better.
So what I'd like to know is, how many poker clients have Mac options and how good are they. I can only take one laptop to france with me so if the Mac's no good for poker, I won't be able to play for a year. I'd also like advice on whether to get a Mac in general.
ps I tried searching for threads about the Mac but it doesn't work cos so many words have the letters mac.

And even if you do, you can still run Windows on a Mac, at the same time.
