Nice, those cards are very unique. Of course it has nothing to do with it, but they sure do look like them Tarot cards! Do you know which ones I´m talking about?

in the 1st picture the 2 cards on the top left are suns.. the ace and 4 2 on top right are cup... thats the 6 and the queen bottom 2 on left is swords with the 5 and jack (which in most cases is higher than the queen) and bottom 2 on the right are "bastones" with the 3 and king
and the 2nd picture im not to familiar with the deck but im sure its very similiar just different stlye of cards
------------ fodz.. im pretty sure that tarrot cards were created in italy...
All evidence indicates that the first tarot decks were created between 1410 and 1430 in either Milan, Ferrara, or Bologna, in northern Italy, when additional trump cards with allegorical illustrations were added to the more common four-suit decks that already existed.
so they were very largely based on those cards.. very nice catch tho

hahah no one really knowns when tarot cards where used for divination but apparently there was some book in the 1500's that was used for that... which jus used regular decks for that...
but when they were created at 1st they were just a very large card deck taht the italians used to play with...
some guy wrote a book about how tarot cards can be used for divination and it was taken from there..
alot of people dont know this about the tarot cards.. the think it was created by the egyptians cuz gypies are connected with using them..

hahaha cant let down the suns eh? gotta represent them!!! haha the game brisk is a really good game.. but it can be comfusing at 1st..
do any of you know how to play eucher? its very similar to eucher... the top cards are...
Ace (11 pts), Three(10 pts), King (4), Jack (3), Queen (2)..
but in scopa,... you get a point if you have the most suns, AND the 7 of suns is another point lol only suit that give you points so suns are an important suit

Oh, I did not know that! Nice, whenever I find something trivial I´ll be sure to send it your way. I´ll post them up on the Trivia threads. Maybe in a couple of months the forum will have a nice database of trivial facts, poker and off topic.
