Early Thursday morning, Barron Glenn Boutte was shot and killed at an underground poker game in Houston, Texas. While tragic, the deceased was no victim; he was attempting to rob the game. At a place called Club 203 in southwest Houston, three masked gunmen barged into the club and demanded the poker players hand over their money. Details of exactly what happened next are fuzzy, but at some point, one of the players pulled out a handgun and opened fire at close range on the intruders. Boutte was hit several times and died in the parking lot. The other two men got away, although one may have also been shot. The gun-toting poker player supposedly chased after the suspects and upon failing to catch them, did report to the police station for questioning.
