If anyone is interested in watching pro players like Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow and many others playing online, just go to Full Tilt and search the High stakes No Limit Holdem tables. You´ll know when a pro is on because the whole line will be highlighted red.
Just last night, Mike Matusow was at a high stake 9 player table.

Of course, they make alot of money online because rich folks want to play against a "pro"! Some lose their money and they don´t even care... they just think "wow, I played against Phil Ivey!"
------------ And no, during regular ring games, no prize.

@Im2good4u in some tourneys you get double buy-in if you bust a pro, their names are in red + they are called their real name so they are easy to recognize. There are also many top pro's at the pot limit omaha table's and if you are fresh Phil Ivey has his own HU table and he's allways ready That is at NL though

That´s why so many people want to become professional poker players, sponsore by a famous poker site. It´s money coming in from everywhere.
The good thing about them playing online is that at least we can watch them in action. Not the same thing as live, but hey... anyone with a computer and internet connection can access it.

I gotta pay tax of winnings from Stars and FTP so im playing PP and 888. But if I could choose i would pick FTP I think its a great software and nice traffic. My level is not to play with the pro's though I have been in tourney with David Chui and Gus...it was FTP's 750K none of us got in the money
