The background of the game window is a photo of some majestic Battleships. This is a perfect setting for this game. The game window is looks like it’s made by steel, just like the real battleships. The symbols are all very detailed in their design. When it comes to the sound effects, some might be a bit disappointed since the slots sounds (the beeps and the reel spins) over take the sound of the music which is a bit strange. However, the overall impression of Battleship can be concluded as well designed slot machine which is in consistency with its theme.
Game Symbols
The lower paying symbols are the card deck symbols, 9 to Ace. You will also see some ships while you are spinning the reels. There are 4 symbols that represent the ships: Submarine, Frigate, Destroyer and the Carrier. These will all pay once 3 or more appear on an active pay line.
The wild is the Battleship logo and it will substitute for all other symbols except the bonus symbol. If 5 wild symbols appear on an active pay line you will win up to 5,000 casino credits. The wild also appears as stacked and will cover an entire reel.
The bonus symbol looks like an attacking fleet of battleships with BONUS written on it. If 3 bonus symbols appear on an active payline, the Pick Your Battle Bonus feature has been triggered.

Bonus Feature
Once you trigger the Pick Your Battle Bonus by getting 3 bonus symbols on Reels 1, 2, and 3 on a played line. You will then have to decide between two bonus rounds: the Winning Encounter Bonus or the Sink the Fleet Bonus. Both Bonus rounds have the same average payback.
Winning Encounter Bonus – if you choose to play the Winning Encounter Bonus, your aim is to use the free spins to sink enemy battleship that appear in the lower part of the game window above your own ship. The ship-to-ship battle progresses when blue and red torpedo sub-symbols appear on the fourth and fifth reels. If a blue torpedo sub-symbol appears anywhere on the fourth reel, then the enemy ship is damaged. If a red torpedo sub-symbol appears anywhere on the fifth reel, then the player's ship is damaged! Each ship can be damaged five times before it is sunk.
Sink the Fleet Bonus – if you choose this bonus game, you will experience the classic Battleship game in a modern way. The bonus game is played on an 8x8 grid where your aim is to predict where the enemy ships are placed. Once you have an idea you click on the square that you predict and to big guns will fire on the game window. The grid will then display weather it was a hit or a miss. You will earn by either hitting or sinking the enemy ships. With each miss, a blue light turns on. The bonus is over when all 8 blue lights are turned on.
