Star Trekô (IGT)

Star Trek by IGT is a slot machine with 30 payline over 5 reels. The original Star Trek franchise was founded in 1966 by the writer and producer Gene Roddenberry. This slot machine is based on Paramount’s 2009 Star Trek movie which was directed by J.J. Abrams. The Star Trek slot machine from IGT has brought the same high-tech space technology that made the movie so great to the reels. The result is one of the most entertaining slot machines in the industry. Star Trek by IGT has no less than 4 different bonus games for you to enjoy. Each of them is attached to the 4 main characters from the film. If you are a fan of Star Trek, get onboard the Starship Enterprise with the rest of the crew and enjoy the adventures of deep space and claim the fortunes of the universe.

Graphics & Sound
As mentioned before, IGT has created a great slot machine that is filled with high tech technology. The game window is actually the dashboard of the Starship Enterprise and you are in control of it. The reels are set on the window to outer space. All the character symbols are taken from the film. The graphics and design are very detailed. While you are spinning the reels you will hear sounds and beeps that can only originate from space. Once you hit a spin win, a dramatic music score will begin. The overall impression of Star Trek by IGT is great. However, one would rather have seen a slot machine based on the original 60’s tv series rather than the 2009 paramount mega hit film.

Game Symbols
There are 4 character symbols from the film in this slot machine: Kirk, Spock, Uhura and Scotty. All 4 character symbols are also bonus symbols that will determine which bonus game you will trigger.
The lower paying symbols are the card deck symbols, 10 to Ace.
The wild symbol is the Star Trek logo and it will substitute for all other symbols except the bonus symbols.
Each of the four bonus games includes additional symbols on the reels.

Gamble Feature
There is no Gamble Feature in this game.

Bonus Feature
You need 3 bonus symbols in order to trigger the bonus games. Once 2 Starship Enterprise bonus symbol appear on the reels, the third bonus symbol will either be the bonus symbol of Kirk, Spock, Uhura or Scotty. Your bonus game will be determined by the third bonus symbol.
Kirk Win Spins Bonus – This bonus game starts with you having to choose one of three beam portals to reveal the number of Win Spins you've earned. For each Win Spin, you spin until you win. In this way, your number of Win Spins only decrements if you get a winning Free Spin. Your total number of Free Spins is limited to 250. Also, the retriggering of the bonus is counted as a win. When you get a win, all awards are tripled. Also, there is a special Kirk/Spock symbol that substitutes only for Kirk and Spock symbols. This greatly increases your chance of getting higher paying Kirk and Spock awards.
Spock Goes Wild Bonus - Beam up the number of Free Spins you've earned. There are Wild Spock symbols on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th reels. Extra Wild Spock symbols have been added to most reels. Also, all Kirk pays are doubled.
Uhura Super Scatter Bonus – Click on one of the three beam portals to reveal the number of Free Spins you've earned. There are additional super scatter pays for getting 3 or more Uhura or Wild symbols anywhere on the reels. You can get up to 8 Uhura and Wild symbols on the reels at once for a huge award. These scatter awards are paid in addition to any line awards for getting Uhura and Wild symbols.
Scotty Multiplier Boost Bonus - From the transporter room, beam up your award multiplier. After the first five Free Spins, your multiplier doubles in size, greatly increasing the value of your remaining Free Spins, including any Free Spins gained from retriggering the bonus.
