1,349 players paid the buy-in of $1,000+$60 to take part in event 12 in Full Tilt Online Series XII. All of them with the common goal of taking down the whole tournament and the first prize of $300,000.

Even though the buy-in was quite high for event number 12, not less than 1349 players registered to play some shorthanded Texas Hold'em poker. After many action filled hours of poker, and after that all the notable poker players had been kicked out of the tournament. There were only these players left who were going to play the final table.

GotURead - 2,811,645
Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick - 1,967,861
bonya37 - 1,203,786
Jas11 - 1,148,548
KiKaMo - 682,212
Josh "doctorhowser" Norris - 279,948

First player to leave the tournament came to be Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick who's pocket 8's ran into GotURead's pocket queens that stood up all the way to the river after both players went all-in pre-flop, and it didn't take long before next player went out. This time it was also an all-in pre-flop, but no pockets. Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick went all-in with AClubQSpade and was called by Josh "doctorhowser" Norris ADiamondKSpade. Board ran out 8Heart5DiamondAHeart7Club8Spade and Norris took home the pot with a better kicker to his pair of aces. Next player to leave the tournament came to be KiKaMo who went all-in pre-flop with QQ and got called by AJ. An ace landed on the flop and KiKaMo basically only had 2 outs that would give him the pot. Turn and river was no help for him, and now there were only 3 players left. With only 3 players left the tournament ended in a dramatic double elimination when the blinds were 40,000/80,000, level 10,000.

Jas11 - 3,445,527
GotURead - 2,986,073
bonya37 - 1,662,400

Jas11 was on the button and raised to 200,000. Bonya37 then went all-in from the small blind with AClubQClub. To Bonya37 big surprise both the other players called. GotURead with ADiamondKDiamond, and Jas11 with JHeartJSpade.

The board ran out 9Diamond10Spade6Heart3Club9Heart and Jas11 took home the pot and the tournament with his pocket jacks.

Final table results:
1. Jas11 - $300,000
2. GotURead - $198,000
3. bonya37 - $138,300
4. KiKaMo - $105,000
5. Josh "doctorhowser" Norris - $72,750
6. Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick - $49,500

What a final table, and once more filled with "John Does", in a 1.000$ buy-in tournament with almost 1.400 players! And they say there is a financial crisis! [ Big Smile]
I have my doubts if we ever going to ear from this guys again: from last table story, no conclusion to take in order to see if their really good bluffers, tight aggressive players or if they only play with high cards at pre-flop. I guess its the last option that defines them...

(by the way, congratulations to T, one of the most well writen news texts i have ever read here!)

Amazing call there with JJ, many people wouldnt want a flip against 2 aces, a king and a queen!
Gratz to him!

AQs, AKs and JJ in one hand 3handed. Full tilts rng at its best. But as usual AK: looks good, but rarely wins.
