Vitaly Lunkin won RPT (Russian Poker Tour) in Moscow after surviving a starting field of 206 players. It wasn't an easy fight for Vitaly when he finally made it to the final table, because there he had to face players like Alexander Kravchenko and Ivan Demidov in the battle of the first prize close to half a million dollars.
Last week PokerStars visited Moscow in Russia for the Russian Poker Tour. 206 players signed up for the main event and created a total prize pool of 1,44 million US dollars. After 3 long and intensive days of poker there were only 9 players left, who were going to play the televised final table for some serious cash. Some of the bigger names that made it to the final table were, Ivan Demidov, Alex Kravchenko and Vitaly Lunkin. Of these 3 Russian poker pros it came to be Vitaly Lunkin, the Full Tilt pro and WSOP bracelet proprietor, who took care of the first place and the first prize $445,709. Lunkin has now won around $1,2 million in different live tournaments.
