While Patrik Antonius is Full Tilt Poker's most successful player over the last two months, he's not having trouble finding opponents.
The first three months of 2010 was really tough financially for Patrik Antonius, if you believe tracking site HighstakesDB.com, which reports that the finnish pro lost almost $ 2,800,000 prior to 1 April.
Since it is reversed, and from a clear first space on the losers list, he is now found on the winners list, 7th overall with a plus of $ 1,800,000.
Especially the last two months, Antonius has been effective, with a plus of nearly $ 2,000,000. Nonetheless, opponents line up to play against the finnish Full Tilt Pro.
It appears from a chat on Full Tilt yesterday, when both Daniel 'jungleman12' Cates and German Limit Hold'em specialist, 'IHateJuice' wanted to play him.
But Antonius would only play against 'IHateJuice' if one of two tables were of the variant 2-7 Draw. The proposal was not entirely backed up by the German:
IHateJuice: patrik, time to play!
Patrik Antonius: juice
Patrik Antonius: two tables
Patrik Antonius: one 2-7 and one limit holdem?
jungleman12: patrik are you going to play ihatejuice?
Patrik Antonius: wow this is getting sick
Patrik Antonius: i feel the most confortable here...
IHateJuice: ur up a million and ask for 2-7
IHateJuice: anyway, i was just letting u know ill be around one more hour or so
Patrik Antonius: ok juice but looks like i will play jungleman12 first
Patrik Antonius: gotta work on my nl
IHateJuice: ill go to bed then i guess
IHateJuice: got university early tomorrow
Patrik Antonius: no game juice now sry to turn you down
IHateJuice: kk
IHateJuice: do u have msn or anything
IHateJuice: its silly for me to stay up that late just for the chance that we play
IHateJuice: id like to know beforehand
IHateJuice: if ur around or so
Patrik Antonius: i will find you if you are waiting on the tables
