New Red Pros at Full Tilt!

Posted on 14 April 2010 by "T".

After weeks of speculations, Full Tilt has finally announced that Van 'Sirens' Marcus, 26, and Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis, 21, are the 2 new players who will be awarded with the Red Pro status. Both Van Marcus and Jonathan Karamalikis have been very successful poker players in the past few years, both online and live, and are among the best poker players in Australia. The 2 new red pros will for sure help Full Tilt strengthen its status in Australia and hopefully also get them a lot of new players.

Van 'Sirens' Marcus (left), 26, is one of Australia`s best players with many years of great cash and tournament results He has won over $1 million dollars in live tournament as is in 8th place on Australia`s All Time Money list.

Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis (right), 21, is one of Australia`s youngest and most talented poker players. Karamalikis has been doing very well in major tournaments such as Aussie Millions and APPT Sydney - around $300k in live earnings. He has also been very successful online. For example, last Sunday he came second in PokerStars Sunday 500 tournament. This is of course just an example of what he have achieved.

By the look of the picture, Van Marcus has already been supported by Pokerstars, so he is not properly a new pro. He can be new at FullTilt, but not at poker scene! But i believe this is something normal amoung big poker rooms, it should be just like football clubs, where teams make their bets on the players according to their possibilities. Fresh pros (26 and 21 years old) are the future best pros!

Oh, they just got 2 new oceanic players...

FTP has their red pros from all around the world, Asia, Europe etc...

Now what's next? Someone from Africa? Surely...

Full Tilt has made pro a boy who was 2nd in PokerStars' Sunday 500 and an ex-PokerStars pro. Is a way to damage their eternal competitor?

Good for those two players. But if Full Tilt continue on this course they will have more red pros than normal player in a few years time.

great news for these two players. hope they can keep it up
but think fulltilt should have a mini red pro status for these kind of players to separate them from the real big guys there

I also think a mini red pro status or something would be better. I mean, some of those playyers havnt that good rsults and have the same status as durr, ect...hmmm

Seems they continue growing, nice to see, as I like more ftp then stars.
And also more chance to be at the same table then a pro, is a nice offer their bounty on pro's.
