The 2011 November 9 kicked off yesterday and still a world champion hasn't been crowned. When 6 of the 9 players had hit the rail, the tournament crew called it a day and play will now resume on Tuesday. The remaining players are Pius Heinz, from Germany, with 107 million chips. In second place is Ben Lamb, from USA, with 55 million chips, and in third place is Martin Staszko, from Czech Republic, with 42 million chips.
These players are now guaranteed $4 million each and will get some well-needed rest before returning to the tables on Tuesday. The player who the most people hope will take home the tournament is, of course, Ben Lamb. Lamb has had a fantastic year at the World Series and he's also received the Player of the Year award for his fantastic achievements. If Lamb wins the Main Event he will get his second WSOP bracelet this year. However, no matter what happens next he's guaranteed to almost triple his life time tournament earnings.
