Two days ago (Tuesday), Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Gavin "gavz101" Cochrane once again played heads-up at PokerStars nosebleed tables. This time they played six $50/$100 PLO tables for about 3 hours (almost 3000 hands). When the session had come to an end, Viktor Blom stood as the winner with a $91,000 profit.

The largest hand of the session was a $49k pot where Isildur1 flopped straight draw and gavz101 had pocket aces. Both players went all-in and Isildur1 got his straight already on the turn - just to improve to an higher straight on the river.

So, more $90k for Isildur1? I think he just eliminated that little $100k negative that he had in is account, right? The news it was "just" minus $100k, and, after reading this, we see it really was few, as he got it in just a couple of hours (ok 3 hours, to be correct Smile)

Well, so it's just like I said under the news about his previous win Tongue It takes just a while on nosebleed tales to show profit from $100k loses.

That is poker, especially with a high variance game like Pot Limit Omaha, you can instantly win or lose huge sums of money.

he has learnt a lot after losing all his winnings at fulltilt in few sessions and the not that high nosebleeds are kinda helping him as if he loses, he doesnt lose too much. anyway lets see how he builds on this good run.

It seems the study he made about the poker game at the beginning of the year really pays off now for him. He also seems to understand much better the bankroll management, the most important rule in poker by far.
As it is now he is the biggest online winner this month so far, he is up almost 550.000 dollars. So far all is great but i really think that the most important is to be able to keep this profit and earn more in the future. As you know he alreasy had some big winning sessions in the past too but after than in a couple of sessions he lost it all. If you remember he actually won over 1 million dollars from scott palmer earlier this year, but he lost a lot more in just a week of really bad sessions.
I would really like to see him again on full tilt poker someday, there are the big names in poker and almost all high stakes cash games online.

The rollercoaster rides continue for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. After a super month at the high stakes tables with profit of $555,000, the phenomenon yesterday lost $222,000, primarily to the successful online cash player Gavin" gavz101" Cochrane. The latter is now the second biggest winner on the online tables this year with 2 Million.

Isildur1 started out against Ben "sauce123" Sulsky at the PLO $300/$600 tables, where he lost $70,000. The remaining amount ended in Gavin Cochrane's pockets, also in PLO. Isilidur's profit for May consequently dropped to $193,000. How long can his style of playing survive before it totally eats him up ???

Isidur1 aka victor blom, always been a crazy dude, no one understand the way he plays his hand, but it seems to work most of the time, i was watching him and durrr playing poker on pokerstars and it's unbelievable how he can make from 5k$ to 150$ in a couples hours. Victor blom is def into my eyes the best online poker player in the world and a very big inspiration to my poker strategie.
