In case you missed it: Asia Pacific Poker Tour is running in Queenstown since a few days ago. Already 2 days of the Main Event are in the books, and 21 players will return to play Day 3 in a couple of hours. There are only 3 players left that aren't from Australia and New Zealand. The chip leader is one of them.

Marcel Schreiner, from Germany, has played fantastic poker so far and has accumulated a stack of 453,800 - more than double the amount of chips as the players in second place, Tom Grigg from Australia. The top 15 players will finish in the money with a minimum payday worth NZ$6,000, while the champion will walk away with NZ$94,300.

Nice prizes for a small town tourney, although being included in a big poker tour. Will Marcel be able to keephis advantage till the end? His greatest risk are to try to rob against low stack players who go for the all in against him and win. This can give him a little headake... and if it happens for than twice...

good prize for first place but if you compare it with EPT or WPT they are pretty far behind, and will fail to attract the big players.
