PokerStars European Poker Tour is in Campione, Italy at the moment. Day 1a, Day 1b and Day 2 have been completed over the past 3 days and now 99 of 570 players remain. In the lead is Balazs Botond with 646,000 chips, and in second place is Ronny Kasier, the 2011 EPT Tallinn winner, with 505,900.

Big names such as Patrik Antonius, Chris Morrman, Viktor Ramdin, Melanie Weiser, Luca Pagano & Eugene Katchalov busted during Day 2 of the tournament. But luckily there are still a few notables that will return to the tables today: David Vamplew (412,900), Liv Boeree (300,900), ElkY (113,500), Martin Finger (131,000) & Olivier Busquet (353,100) - to mention a few.

Prize Payouts
The winner of the tournament will take home €640,000 and the runner-up will take home €430,000. The money bubble will burst when 88 players remain - all players will be guaranteed at least €7,500 each.

More than half a million euros is something to work hard for. Elky is the name I know better from this list and, although he is a bit far from the first places, I keep saying it is all a matter of management. One doesn’t have to be first soon to win the tourney. In most of my wins I was always in the middle of the rank till the final table, and only there things would start to change.

Liv Boeree is a good looking and very talented poker player, but i am not very fond of her as a person. In my opinion she have a bad personality.. Did anyone saw her appearance in the TV show Golden Balls?
