Negreanu lost the first Limit Hold'em Challenge

Following the very successful and popular SuperStar Showdown with Viktor Blom, the very first Limit Hold'em Challenge with Daniel Negreanu was played yesterday on PokerStars. KidPoker's first opponent was the German Limit-specialist "rUaBot".

The game featured two tables with the stakes $200/$400 Limit Hold'em and both players had $75,000 each to gamble with. The match was very even at first, but then "rUaBot" seemed unstoppable as he was winning hand after hand. However, the match still lasted for just over 4 hours (937 hands) before "rUaBot" had all the money. Daniel Negreanu seemed to be quite annoyed after the match.

Apart from the chat conversation, Negreanu didn't mention anything on Twitter - even though he was active on Twitter for several hours after the match. Now we will have to wait and see whether or not there will be another challenge.

did they have $75k on each table? if thats the case im not suprised he wasnt in a good mood after it. who would be happy losing $150k? especially when the guy your playing is on a total heater. lose your money and theres not a thing you can do about it.

By reading the chat, I can’t understand why anyone says D.Negreanu seemed annoyed after the game, the chat was the most normal possible. I don’t know if it’s true that Daniel had ever played 2 tables HU LH at the same time, that sure seems strange for such an experienced pro like him, and I guess we will see another challenge.

But thats a nasty loss in that space of time all the same - less than half an EPT cash for Daniel.

I think Negreanu HU LH as much as NL HU so i can imagine that he hasn't played 2 Tables at the same time. And i also didn't see a sign that he is annoyed in the chat or in this article.

Well that is why they rUaBot a Limit Holdem specialist, he proved it by winning Daniel heads up on two tables, that is awesome in my opinion.

Negreanu it's not an expert on LH, though he is very god at PL and NL... Playing 2 tables of HU LH is not his main activity and, of course, his oponent is a very experienced player in such game...

About chat I don't think he is annoyed, maybe a little bit desapointed...

Negreanu is one of my fav poker players all around the world... Hope to see him again soon!

lol does he not have a bracelet or 2 in limit holdem, i know thats a tourney but im pretty sure he knows cash too Big Smile what else do you need to know to know this game Big Smile

not sure fl is daniel's game- probably this was just for promotional reasons, and in that case i doubt daniel lost his own cash- probably stars just gave the cash for both players and said "give us some action"...doubt if such an experienced player like daniel would agree to risk 75 k, to play someone who is an expert at fl, while himself just having a first time at it

i think this is very likely, but what about the PokerStars commercials? We Are Poker, they sure are amazing, i guess some rich people will just try for fun Poker on PokerStars, only after seeing the commercial somewhere xD
