In the shadow of the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in Bahamas, the World Series of Poker Bicycle Casino Circuit Main Event kicked off last Monday and attracted a record field of 732 players.

After 3 days of play (34 hours), Baptiste Chavaillaz was the last man standing and received a whopping $216,275 + a seat in the WSOP National Championship (May 2013). Chavaillaz, 30, works in the music business and travels the world with famous bands and recording artists. Now he has made a name for himself in the poker world as well.

"It's all still sinking in," he told WSOP.  "I've been playing poker for 12 years.  But I've never had anything like this happen before.  I had not even played in a major tournament like this, ever."

Well I guess if he knew he would do that good, he would have played a tournament that size waaaay before lol.

Even thou it's a more "modest" tournament than the PCA, that prize pool still looks very nice indeed.

A lot of money for the average Joe ( and a complete fortune to a "under average Joe" like myself) wouldn't mind to get my hands on something like it...

The first big tourney and bang! A great victory for another unknown. There are hundreds of players with this profile in every tourney: they happen to have money to play some nice events with big first prizes, they enter them every now and then, they play for the same reason we all do, and, sometimes, they make to the final table and they surprise the most known players by winning the events.

WoW

I think he would have known that at times he wins a tournament, he would have been taken at several tournaments, and tried his luck Blink
Maybe I someday. So lucky and win a ticket to a slightly larger tournament, as it is here in Germany in Dortmund and get invited to the Masters Final I hope: D
