On Saturday, the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (10th Anniversary) kicked off at Atlantis in The Bahamas. First out was the the $100,000 Super High Roller which saw a field of 47 players (Phil Ivey, Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu etc) who accounted for 57 entries (10 re-buys).
After 2 days of play, the field had been narrowed down 8 surviors. The final table will kick off tonight and all the remaining players are guaranteed $228,960 each - with the chance of laying hands on the $2,003,480 first place prize. David "Doc" Sands is the big favourite to take home the tournament with his massive 6,680,000 stack - about 4.4 million more than his closest opponent (Nick Schulman). Let's hope for an exciting final table!

Now at this hour, with only eight players left in what was once a 47-player field, Sands remains in that coveted spot--in the money, a massive chip leader, and only seven players standing between him and a Super High Roller championship.

Hi all. Interesting final table. To be honest I have not heard of some of the players, but Scott Seiver I have. He has some strange habits on the table when he is involved a hand. He covers face etc, trying to disguise his tells. I believe he could finish higher than he present position. Anyway GL to them all and GL to all you mobsters..............................

Having almost half the tournament chips when the final table is starting must give Sands a lot of tranquility, that can end up working wrong for him. Although he can rest while the good hands don't come, he also must know that loosing chips for the opponents, although not meaning that much for him for having many, means a lot for his opponents that will start growing on the way to the final HU.
