The final table started with seven players and ended with Tobias Reinkemeier and Sam Trickett playing heads-up, batteling for some serious cash! Trickett had a 5-1 chip advantage and it didn't take long before the two were all in: Trickett with A5 against Reinkemeier's K2. The board ran out J87Q8 and eliminated Reinkemeier in second place for AU$1,250,000! Trickett received an incredible AU$2,000,000 for winning the tournament!

Sam Trickett has been running extremely good in the past 3 years. In 2011, he won the $100k Aussie Millions High Roller (AU$1.5 million) and finished second in the $250k Super High Roller (AU$1.4 million) 5 days later. In October the same year he won the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event in Cannes for €1 million. He finished second in the 2012 WSOP Big One For One Drop for $10,112,001 and the following month he finished 7th in the Macau Super High Roller for $999k!
