It has been an action-filled weekend in Casino Barcelona's poker room as Day 1A, Day 1B and Day 2 of the WPT Barcelona main event have been played. The field has been narrowed down from 249 to 42 players and the money bubble will burst during Day 3 (starts at noon today). The chip leader is Anaras Alekberovas (picture) with 467,000 chips and Tahiri Hassani (434,500) and Antonio Alfaia (430,500) are not far behind.
Besides the players mentioned above, there are two players that one should look out for during Day 3: Lukas Berglund (347k), of Sweden, who won this tournament in 2011 and Steve O'Dwyer (112,000), the American poker pro who has played several EPT and WPT final tables.

| Steve O'Dwyer is a bit far from the lead, but he seems to have enough chips to fight for a place at the final table. As for Lukas Berglund, i guess he would love to repeat 2011 results... but will those less known leaders let him?|

Barcelona, great city to play poker I wish I would be on the Final Table of WPT or EPT Barcelona one day. And if I could win it, would be even better! Although the spotlights of the Final Table might make me sweat too much.
