The final table of the World Poker Tour World Championship at Bellago in Las Vegas is set after 4 days of play, and here are the 8 finalists:

Seat 1.  Jonathan Roy  -  1,987,000  (66 bb)
Seat 2.  David Peters  -  858,000  (28 bb)
Seat 3.  Erick Lindgren  -  2,518,000  (83 bb)
Seat 4.  Rocco Palumbo  -  680,000  (22 bb)
Seat 5.  Brandon Steven  -  1,235,000  (41 bb)

Seat 7.  Matt Hyman  -  1,940,000  (64 bb)
Seat 8.  Chino Rheem  -  4,839,000  (161 bb)

Chino Rheem entered Day 4 21st in chips with 24 players remaining and he went on an incredible winning spree after the field reached the money to take the chip lead. Rheem, winner of the WPT Doyle Brunson Classic in 2008, has almost twice as much chips as any other finalist. He he will be joined by two-time WPT title winners Erick Lindgren and Daniel Negreanu on the final table. Negreanu only has 545k to work with, but Erick Lindgren has 2.5 million and is second in chips. In total, 5 of 8 finalists already have their names engraved on the WPT Championship Cup trophy: Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, Rocco Palumbo, Chino Rheem and Jonathan Roy.

Daniel has been on a great run and some great final tables. Good to see Chino Rheem there too. He has been one of my favorites since the WSOP a couple of years ago.

Good luck guys!

Hand #34 - Matt Hyman raises UTG+1 to 50,000, Chino Rheem reraises from middle position to 125,000, and Amir Babakhani moves all in from middle position for about 470,000.
Hyman folds, and Rheem calls with KclubKdiamond. Babakhani turns over 7diamond7heart, and he'll need to improve to stay alive.
The board comes Adiamond8diamond3clubJheart4spade, and the pocket kings hold up for Rheem to win the pot and eliminate Amir Babakhani in ninth place.
Chino Rheem - 4,839,000 (201 bb)
Amir Babakhani - Out in 9th Place ($70,300)

After entering a raised post with Lindgren and Rheem, Negreanu check-raised all-in on a Th8s5h board with AsTc
However, despite holding top pair Negreanu found himself in trouble as Lindgren called with pocket jacks to scoop the pot after the 8h and 7d fell on the turn and river.
Negreanu's exit left Rheem atop of the chip counts and in control of today's finale with 5,495,000 chips, just ahead of Lindgren (3,355,000) and Jonathan Roy (1,900,000).

I've never heard of Chino Rheem before,...but I guess he's pretty good if he can reach a final table at a WPT event and knock ol' Danny boy out!

I see why PokerJokerRO likes him so much,...he's got one of those 'eanu names.

Keep an eye on the circuit for the new Canadian hot up-and-comer demodawggyeanu..... Cool
