2 Paul Febers €149,906*
3 Daragh Davey €80,400
4 Dimitri Pembroke €62,000

6 Benjamin Spragg €30,210
7 Christy Morkan €22,310
8 Jonathan Slater €16,500

That's his first major win. Congrats to him on the good job. That's a lot of money for a regular guy.
I think this is basically the dream of any poker amateur - to hit one big pot that'll make all those long nights in front of the screen worthwhile.

Agreed. I would love that sort of money playing poker then being smart I would take the $100,000 for myself and reinvest the rest in poker. £10,000 would do me. Big Smile

So is he a regular player, professional or amateur that got away with a win. It would have been nice to provide a bit more information on this, but maybe I overlooked something or missed it.

Looking at his GPI score - http://www.globalpokerindex.com/poker-players/alan-gold...
it seems that his biggest win this year was about 2.5K$, If he's a tournament pro it is a very rough year for him...
Judging from his GPI status he must be an amatour
