Guy Laliberté recently made headlines in Spanish newspapers for building a monument outside his villa in Ibiza. The monument consists of 13 monoliths with the highest being over 20 meters and decorated with 23 carat gold. According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the Canadian billionaire and founder of $1m Big One for One Drop received a record breaking fine for building it without a planning permission.
Many believe that Laliberté, who was one of the first space tourists, built the monument as a landing spot for UFOs. What do you think?
He found a genie in a deck of cards that could only grant him one wish. He asked the genie to build him a golden monoliths monument where visiting aliens could land their ufos. The genie told him that would take a lot of work and besides breaking several spanish construction laws, aliens would probably not come to land there. Guy Laliberte decided to ask the genie to grow his hair back instead.. to which to genie replied: 20 meters high monoliths, is that ok?!?
haha people go crazy when they have lots of money, he has so much money that he thinks he can afford do this and it is fun to watch how the billionaires are, all billionaire are eccentric if not him more than others lol.
Anyway nice piece of news and in the picture he does not seems to be rich and just an average guy playing poker lol. That said, you can never trust somebody based on its appearance. Cheers have fun with his landing spot lol
This clown looks a bit silly. He went on tilt and it is still in his head. OK he has a lot of money but that is very very strange idea. With lot of money he can buy a space tour where he should better odds chance to meet with real UFOs if that is the important thing he really want. In his villa garden grow flowers and plants but this...

no no, no ufo landing space, nothing even close... jeez those spaniards think of such strange things... guy build a sexual fantasies fulfillment monument for his wife- some sort of mega vibrator analog in much bigger size (probably dude has some issues with size as my friend ziggy freud would say)
I was hoping this story was not true as recently I saw him in an interview asking for donations for his one drop charity, saying every dollar helps etc etc.Decorating monoliths with gold is not what i would expect from someone who is asking people to skip a coffee a day and donate to charity.
