On Tuesday, the 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) $100,000 Super High Roller kicked of and saw 48 unique entrants and 13 re-entries. 44 players returned for Day 2, five were either new entries or re-entries, to make it the richest Super High Roller in PCA history!
Now, after two days of play the field of 66 entries has been narrowed down to only 7 players. Sorel Mizzi will be leading the way to the final table today with 4.8 million in chips. According to PokerStars Blog, Mizzi was struggling to get someone to transfer him the $100,000 entrance fee just hours before the tournament started.
"A hundred thousand is a lot of money," he told PokerStars Blog. "I don't just have that sitting in my account like some of these high rollers."
Now, after two days of hard work, he has a great chance of scoring a $1.8 million payday (the first place prize)! Mizzi is up against some world-class poker players on the final table, including Andrew Robl and Steve O'Dwyer. Below is the final table line up and a video of Day 2. We will be back with a final table recap tomorrow morning.
Seat 1: Roger Sippl -- 3,255,000 (54 big blinds) Seat 2: Bryn Kenney -- 2,410,000 (40 big blinds) Seat 3: Andrew Robl -- 1,370,000 (23 big blinds) Seat 4: Sorel Mizzi -- 4,800,000 (80 big blinds) Seat5 : Christoph Vogelsang -- 1,540,000 (26 big blinds) Seat 6: Sam Greenwood -- 705,000 (12 big blinds) Seat 7: Steve O'Dwyer -- 2,925,000 (49 big blinds)
What an exciting looking final table and it will be very interesting to see who takes down this massive prize. I think Andrew Robl has a great chance but there is a long way to go yet
