160 players became 22 players after 10 levels of play on Day 2 of the $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event. Keven Stammen, who has close to 3.9 million dollars in tournament earnings, will bring the heaviest bag of chips to the third day of play. He bagged up the chip lead mainly thanks to taking down a big pot with straight flush early on Day2.

Here's how the hand was played out:

Aleksandr Denisov lead out with a bet on the board 6Diamond3Spade8Diamond7Diamond. Stammen quickly two-bet and Denisov three-bet. Stammen sat quietly for a few moments before making a fourth-bet, Denisov capped the action.

The QHeart completed the board and Denisov took his time before making a bet. Stammen made it two bet and Denisov called. Stammen rolled over 4Diamond5Diamond for a straight flush and took home a massive pot.

Play will continue at 2:00 PM tomorrow and the plan is to play down to a winner. Check back tomorrow for another brief update.

A nice lead for Kevin Stammen at this stage of the tournament but chip stacks very quick to change at this stage but Stammen has loads of experience at this level.
Must be nice to get a straight flush in such a good tourney as well.

Yeah, it was a nice lead for 'poor' Kevin - I never had a straight flush since ages, and he's got into the chiplead after one in a live tournament. Life is truly unjust sometimes it seems to me. Or I am just more bitter on this summer.
