Nicky Palma, a New York poker pro, has been accused by fellow poker pro, Tim Reilly, for scamming backers. In addition to this, he is also being accused by his poker player ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Hubbard, for sexual assault and battery.
Reilly claims that he started backing and buying Palma's action about a year ago "out of compassion." Their poker relationship did not end well as it quickly turned awry when Reilly discovered that Palma had "massive debts with past backers and investors that he hadn't paid," with numbers allegedly running to six figures.
Another poker pro, Alex Foxen, has backed up Reilly's claims. In response to Tim Reilly's tweet, Foxen said:

In a sinister twist, the scam story revealed another story of sexual assault, battery, and robbery from Palma's ex-girlfiend, Stephanie Hubbard, who went on to tweet,
In response to Hubbard's tweet, Palma tweeted,
What continued was a series of defensive posts aimed at Reilly, some containing threats and hints of violence.
The poker-backing website YouStake took prompt action to protect their community.
Eventually, Tim Reilly got the cold-shoulder treatment by Palma as he got blocked from viewing any of Palma's tweets, to which he replied:
