Elio Fox wins the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Super High Roller... once again!

A few days after he won a partypoker POWERFEST event for $101,098, American poker pro Elio Fox adds another score to his poker portfolio.

The 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown runs from April 4 and will end on April 16.

Event #14: $50,000 Super High Roller (Single Re-Entry)
Venue: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida
Date: April 10, 2019
Buy-in: $50,000
Player entries: 20
Prize pool: $1,000,000
In the money: 4 players

Elio Fox bagged his second Super High Roller win at the host's venue Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood - he won his first one last year in August 2018. This basically means Fox won back-to-back and defended his title.

The 33-year-old high-stakes pro emerged victorious amongst a field of 20 high-roller experts in a tournament that featured a guaranteed prize pool worth $1 million, with the top four players set to receive cash prizes.

For this event, Elio Fox took home the lion's share worth $440,000 for outlasting everyone on the field. His current total live earnings at this point is at $8,115,331, according to the Hendonmob. The American poker pro's best live cash so far came from the 2011 WSOP Europe Main Event, where he won € 1,400,000 ($ 1,870,208).

It was like déjà vu for Bosnian native Ali Imsirovic who finished 4th place for $120,000 - he actually got the same spot last year! Third place went to Alex Foxen for $180,000, whereas Sam Soverel became the runner-up for this event, taking home $260,000.

Fox said after he won, "It feels great. It's always wonderful to start out a trip doing well - makes it easier the rest of the way. It was a really tough tournament, and I love playing with the group of guys that was here. I play with them a lot, and I'm really happy to have won."

This guy is having a fantastic few weeks and many congratz to him. It must be one heck of a feeling to know that you are playing well and making all the correct decisions at the right times

Well what you can say. Another first top finish in just a few days.
And this time the winnings worth it a lot more.
The buy in alone was half the prize he won in the previous tournament Smile
But besides being a high roller game, with 50k USD buy in, the
participation was low, which resulted in a relatively small prize for the entry.
That made it easier though to win the game Smile

for few hours of playing this is good job,but ofcourse when you lose this kind of buy in,then its not good!but this players have enough on their bank account, that they can afford it to lose, they will die if they dont come to prize pool!but this amount for buy in is so high, you can buy very great car for this money!

A sophisticated game with strong people in poker holdem art. 10 players for 1 million dollars prize is like sit and go live game. A lot of money for the winner, but of course the buy-in was too big. I'm sure Elio Fox feels good, its normal and has a good profit after this ,,fight''.

The Wiley old Mr Fox is having a really hot run of form here don’t ya think! A couple of very nice wins in just a few days for Emilio, for which he must be a very happy man indeed. Think how you feel when you win two low buy in tourneys in a row for tens of pounds winnings let alone for thousands, Good luck to him in the next game!

Holy what a few days for this guy, first win over 100k then play tournaments with buy in 50k and win 440k. Now he can take a break and enjoy an exotic island as he has earned it with his game in the last few days. Congratulations! Gl

Yeah, it seems to me that he just switched on the 'hot mode' cheat code right now and cutting through the competition like they were warm butter. Very nice results in the last couple weeks, very nice two-week-income as well for sure.

Fox, of course, grabbed luck by the tail .... winning one tournament And after a few days winning another tournament is certainly a great achievement .... the person did not relax after winning, but on the contrary realized that now is a good time for him and used it to the maximum ... very cool .... but of course there were only 50 players but still cool

I tried to see how powerful this game was but i did not find a summary. I'll try later to see how they played this strong mini game, sit and go live or how he is called. I suppose these players were tense and their decisions were quite rational.

Despite being called high-roller, this event wasn't that much important nor well marketed so I guess that is why we do not know certain outcomes of the key jands played but they could have put together some videoblog about it at least.

of course the players were focused .... there were only 20 people ... With such a small number of players, each game matters .... and the risk must be justified in order to receive the winnings .... and of course the game must be very rational ... and there were very good players ... hard game

Such a game can take even a whole day if players play a very tight game. I would not play in that way because there is big money but there are plenty of professionals players who do this when they have the opportunity. Think about how much money they lose in a few hours. How many years you feed on that money? I would buy 200 pigs of over 100 kg with that money. Lol Smile and some players if he does not win, they give up to a lot of money. Blink

yes it is situation I read not for first time when some player wins one tournament and then after short period again another and good score come for some time, of course it is more real when bad scores come for long times. not a lot of people in ths tournament only 20
 CALICUL21/04/2019 15:14:12 GMT
There were few players because this buy-in was pretty big and sometimes even professional players avoid these tournaments. It's not easy to you win 50k and then use them to enter a tournament. People who have nothing to do with money can risk it. Blink
