The Rio Pavilion Ballroom shall house approximately 40 live action tables in the hourly "Hot Seat" promo every day, every hour of the WSOP. Every hour a random seat will be drawn, and the player on that seat shall receive a nice sum of $500 in cash value Rio casino chips. The promo runs from June 4 to July 9.
Buy-ins for tournaments will start as low as $70. Single table satellites and all live poker games (low, medium and high limit) shall commence on May 28, to run 24 hours per day throughout the 7-week series set within the premises of the colossal Rio Convention Center for the 15th consecutive year.
In 2018, a total of 78 bracelet events were held, with some of these tournaments having super low buy-ins plus there were 4 online tournaments played on WSOP.com.
It is expected that the 2019 WSOP shall likely feature over 80 events with the same number (if not more) of online tournaments.
