Novomatic, one of the biggest gaming tech companies in the world, has been named as one of the most valuable companies in Austria this year.
Novomatic ranked second in Austria's list of top 10 brand corporations for the fourth consecutive time. The evaluation was based on a wide range of criteria including brand strength, brand potential, trend development, and revenue.
Novomatic says that thanks to an increase of 13.5% in brand value, it allowed them to achieve the largest leap within a year among the top 10 most valuable brands in Austria. With an estimate of 23,900 employees all over the world and operations in around 50 countries, Novomatic has managed to increase its brand value to EUR 3.44 billion ($3.74 billion).
Only Red Bull ranks ahead of Novomatic in Lower Austria in the country's top brands list. The company said, "The reasons for this outstanding rating are in particular the continuous growth, the significant increase in revenue and the great commitment to sustainability with the implementation of a comprehensive corporate responsibility and ESG program."
The European Brand Institute also surveyed the brand companies' contribution to sustainable development in Austria, as part of its Sustainable Brand Rating. Novomatic got 4th place in this ranking with an AAA rating.

Novomatic AG is licensed and regulated in the UK by the Gambling Commission. Founded in 1980, it is one of the largest gaming technology groups in the world with a turnover of around EUR 2.9 billion in 2022.
