Chief executive of the Betting And Gaming Council (BGC) Michael Dugher said that unlike almost every other country in the world, the UK is moving at a turtle's pace when it comes to the implementation of stricter measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
On Friday March 20, UK casinos and betting shops have been ordered to close effective immediately, as part of the government's efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
