For some reason my ISP will not connect to big bet poker.com, ive tried all sorts of things, such as changing security levels, etc and I stil cant get on. Anyone got any ideas???

What error message are you getting? a 404 error?
Please send us an email to [email protected] and give us the details of your ISP and your IP address and we will try an get you sorted.

Strange, I've not been able to open their homepage www.bigbetpoker.com in the last week or so.
Google Chrome tells me: "Oops! This link appears to be broken. Suggestions: View cached copy of page from Google Go to www. bigbetpoker. com Search on Google:"

I managed to download their poker software from the google cached page, but when I try to create a new account it says "The connection has timed out. The server at www.bigbetpoker.com is taking too long to respond." I've been trying all day long with no luck
I am using Firefox 2.0.0.20 (I know, I have to update... ) , but I don't think that Firefox is the problem here...

Well, I guess it must be their server or we wouldn't be having so much trouble just trying to enter the site. There's more than a couple of users now with the same problem to be just us...
A few weeks back the Cake network was experiencing some server troubles. I already had an account but funny things would happen. Eventually cake was able to track it down to server troubles and informed us of what was going on. It was a pain in the A##. You would be playing and the tables would lock up or you were not able to log in. Sometimes you have to wait an hour or two before you are able to log in or bring up the site. Which is bad for that network because you will be playing at another site.

Try to remove your cookies. I removed mine, but I'm not sure if it was this that resolved it. Also try to access the site with another browser to see if the problem is with your current one.
My ISP is BT, the error soming up is internet explorer cannot connect to this page, im not really a computer person, so dont know what typ of error this is, and my IP address is 192.168.1.64
Would be great if I could get this problenm resolved so I can subscribe and join BIg Bet Poker.

Good suggestion.
The website should be visible in any browser but there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to these issues. I've brought it up with our Dev team and they are investigating.

I cant access the site at all too and I have no problems accessing any other sites so not sure what the problem is. I tried both firefox and ie (vista) but nothing works.
Error message given was: 'The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.'
It keeps happening even though I tried on different computers and they're all working perfectly.
The strange thing is the only pages I cant access are the main page (http://www.bigbetpoker.com) as well as the creating account page, but I can access EVERYTHING ELSE like the promotions page, terms and conditions etc. This is a major problem since I'm trying to create an new account.
I'm actually quite keen on starting a bigbetpoker account to take advantage of the 1st deposit bonus but I'm rather hesitant now.
This seems to be relating to various ISP's blocking the IP Address of the main page. We're investigating but in the mean time you can try using a proxy to gain access. This has worked for some people.

Hi John,
I've tried creating an account through a proxy, using my primary email, but it failed and after that i could'nt use my primary email to create an account because it was logged in the system.
I've since created another account using my secondary email, but I couldnt deposit money through my Moneybookers account as the email used to register the accounts did not match.
Is there any way I can reregister using my priimary email, as the only way I can deposit money is through moneybookers.
I've already spoken to one of the support staff Jewel who said she'll delete the account that was created using my primary email but its still logged in the system and I cant use the email anymore.

Yeh, was a couple threads about this a while ago. I still can't access site through any browser and have also even tried via a couple other ISPs.
Creating an account via a web proxy is a nice idea, but personally, I'd be hesitant about shifting my roll to a room that my primary IP address can't access the website for. Until issue is resolved at server end I will not be creating a BBP account
, but I don't think that Firefox is the problem here...
