I found this DVD the other day in our supermarket. All in. A movie with M Madsen and maybe one more actor I recognized. But the cover looked good, and it was about poker. Not a new movie, a few years old.
Now, I haven't seen Madsen in anything good since Pulp Fiction, so maybe I should have guessed what was coming, but man... I had no idea you could make such a crappy movie.
It was like a bunch of highschoolkids had to do it to pass a class, and had heard that poker was kind of a hot subject, but actually didn't know anything about the game. And the actors sucked, the plot was so bad I swear I could go to the bathroom and return after a good crap with a better one, and... and...
(Although I must say that Madsen did his best with the bad role he was given. Can't understand how come he always appears in bad movies.)
It was just, like, you know when youre blushing when someone else is making a fool out of themselves, just because it feels so stupid.
Yeah, like that X 1000...
Read the review at IMDB, the dude that wrote it, actually registered just to warn people about the movie.
Hope I have saved a buy in at microstakes for someone.

lol. Strangely your review makes me want to see it more, only to see why it's so bad. Sometimes it's funny to watch really bad, low budget films, unless you're in the mood to watch a good one. Seriously might look up some clips.

it remembered me when, lots of years ago, me and some friends were on a plane going to Barcellona; we were talking to a spanish man on the plane who repeated us, several times, "italians don't go to Ramblas, Italians don't go to Ramblas".
Well, guess the first place we visited once we arrived to Barcellona

Yeah, I suppose there is something to it. One wants to know why... But please don't pay for it! If you do, the makers maybe will be able to do more of these crimes against mankind...
