Well, kinda both, ofc they make your bankroll nice and fat, but when you get a huge bad beat coz of a donk, you are really angry against all the donks ^^

you've got to love them surly....
They can give you soooooo much generally all there chips (for a start) but its better when they dont give all there chips because then you can go back and get some more later..
Its good when you can spot them early on in a tourny or even during a sit n go. them you know your getting better hahaha
I spotted one with in the first 5 hands on a game i played last night and sure as chips are chips i had him paying me off as soon as i got a decent hand.... Big Smile

I don´t like donk´s you can not play with them real good poker and say that was a nice evening equal of i lost or win the night.I want play poker not bingo.
It´s like a basketball player thats play the game with his feeds it´s not funny.
Or u play a game with a noob sure u win every game but have u fun.I think not.
Sure u can take money from the donks but it is really a nice game when u have a table full with donkys a good player can fold this hand and u can all the strategy of poker on a table with good player´s.Have u a table with donks that is not poker.
I like it on final table´s with a lot of good player´s.That´s the real game and when i lost against a better player i´m not angry maybe he had the better hand or more luck

OMG. I hate hate hate donks so much right now!!!!

I am fuming. Was just playing the 1000 dollar gtd rebuy at full tilt. It's only 10c buy in but it's not the point. I never rebuy in this tourney as it costs 50c to rebuy which to my mind means it's -ev but I like this tourney as it provides good opportunity to make easy money.

Can't remember exactly what happened but I was one of two big stacks at the table. Playing well and getting into it. I get dealt AQo in early position and I think I just called a mid position raiser preflop.

The flop was low with two clubs. I checked. The villian, the only person on the table with a bigger stack than me bet half the pot. I raised just less than a pot sized raise as I had planned to on the flop if he bet. I didn't think he could be strong here and I wanted to see where I was. If I bet out on the flop I figured it wouldn't give me much info if he just called.

He calls the raise and the turn comes another club. The pot is probably about half of my remaining stack. I figure that he hasn't got a flush especially as I have the ace of clubs and I put him on an ace having raised preflop and betting the flop. I assume that if I push there isn't much he can call with as it will leave him with about a ninth of his original stack. and if he does I have several outs out as the board isn't paired.

I'm all in. He calls with KQo and no clubs. wtf. He hits the king of spades on the river. How can he possibly call that even if he puts me on a bluff and why does god love donks? By my calculation he had two outs in 44 cards, about 4.5%.

It wasn't a big loss as it was quite early on in the tourney but I have been on a down swing lately. So I've been playing these cheap buy-ins and freerolls to get my winning edge back so-to-speak. But bad beats like this just want me to buy into a bigger buy-in or cash game, which is a bad idea on tilt.

"He saw an animal that he couldn't read
Stupid grin on his face like he'd had too much weed.
He played his cards like some kind of gronk.
Ah, I think I'll call it a Donk.
Man gave names to all the animals, in the beginning........."

I love 'em, I myself am a hybrid, half donk, half man.

Don't be scared of the donk, he will always tell you his cards, just watch him a couple hands, see if he's a superdonk (smarter ones) or just an idiot or just a good guy playing for fun and not the money or win.

Shut the fuk up, talking like you're a pro. I hate you!

Happens all the fkkn time, it's not that they play bad that gets me, it's that they get rewarded for this bad play, almost all the time lately, im getting beat all the time, everybody's floppin the nuts against me, after callin a raise with 53s, 83o, players calling allin with k10o, omg, horrible. Last few days I play too much and under pressure, maybe 10000-15000 hands, normally I will have profit, now I'm just breakeven, runnin so bad on Stars, thank God for the unlucky donks at FT.

Awood, I'll give you one tip: DONT BLUFF against these idiots, I would do the same as you if I think I am ahead, but as you see they call and get lucky. The thing is they will call anyway, NO MATTER WHAT, so wait until you hit and then bet big, raise big.

It's unbelievable how some day donks seem to know what cards are comming and hit all what they want. Today has been one of such awful days. Angry Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!
