Rudolph was not one of the original eight Santa's reindeer. They date back to the early 19th century and rudolph was added more than a hundred years later. The original eight were Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder and Blixem but today we generally say the last two are Donner and Blitzen. In a hundred years time Santa will probably have even more reindeer including one called Robbie.

I would be prancer in the mornig Dancer in the evening Vixen at bed time And what ever any time after that. Reindeer are truly ugleeeee creatures so mouse like and dumb looking. I dont know why Santa likes reindeer to pull his sleigh? a couple of rutting stag would be a better site. But Santa couldnt use a Scotish stag coz the little fooker would be head butting every thing in sight.
