everest is independent and 888 is 888...none of them ipoker.
anyways each pokerclient installs some kind of spyware. not unusual that some AV go crazy/detect trojans. i also heard alot complainings about everest regarding spyware. unfortunatly theres nothing we can do except to refuse to play onlinepoker lol.

what antivirus are you using? I just downloaded it to try and see about that and I had no warnings (I'm using avast antivirus software). However my experience with pretty much all AV software is that they do give a false alarm every once in a while

neither 888 or everest is iPoker (to whoever wrote that)
888 is a piece of junk software and I wouldn't be surprised if it shipped with genuine malware.. Actually, my dad loaded it from an official 888 disc and it loaded the spyware from that. Also, 888 has numerous display errors when playing (chip stacks showing wrong amount, pos in MTT wrong, avatars not loading, etc etc) Its a buggy piece of crap and probably steals your MB/NT logins lol
Almost every poker software performs some actions on your computer that can be considered by some anti-virus program as trojan activity. Poker soft collects certain information about your computer and sends it via internet. For instance, Poker Stars prohibits to use Sharkscope when you actually play. Guess how they know if you have Sharkscope open at the moment or not?
Posted by lapepe: just turn off the virusprogram, download the pokerklient and turn on the virusprogram again
This might not work. After an antivirus program is restarted it can block the poker client. You should add it to the list of trusted applications.
