It remind me a really sick hand that I played a few days ago.

Got AA against AQ. Preflop all-in
Flop came 666 I thought I had already won but when I saw the table again I realized I had lost.
Turn Q, River Q

Had exactly the same happen to me three spots away from the money in a $30 MTT.

I was average stack. Big stack shoves into me on the BB. I thought WEEEE christmas.

he turns over AA as well..

he hits a four on the board flush and out I go...

Well, indeed as many have said, it happens. My goal for 2010 is exactly that, to be able to quickly say to myself "it happens" whenever my hand gets beat by pure luck or stupid play and avoid tilt by all means

This situation is very unfair but common, more that you can imagine. That's exactly what happened to Andy Bloch against Eric Lindgren. At the begining, laughing, shaking their hands, good mood but ... when appears flop, turn ... and the river, buf!

Outsch.

But s**t like that happens all the time. But look at it this way: You lost only half a buy in. Blink

can happen to everyone, you could have pushed all in but there is no way that the other guy on that flop would lay aces down. Just a bad beat.

Has happened to me and it is really sick. If you play your A-game after a hand like that you have a great mind control.
