fortunately I (still?) haven't had these kind of moments, maybe cause when I begin o tilt i quit pokersessions (even if it is started since few minutes) and do something else.
doing this way I never lost more than 20-30$ in a single session (but I have to say I only play at NL10 and lately NL20 and DONs SNG $5 $10 and from time to time $20).
I'm sorry for your bad feeling, quit a bit read something about p***********y (I suggest to start from our poker strategy section, it is very useful to me) be critic with your playing style, analyze it...and you will grow up in poker

and good luck Blink

i don't really know why i'm still replying ... probably i will shove all my mob points to the draw , also waiting for murray- cilic to start and bet all my money ... i stopped playing before going broke , but if you are trying to build a bankroll you are very fragile ... and this kind of s**t makes me sick ...
i am speechless. Aww crap!

Take a few days off poker, only come back to it when you're ready and you'll be fine. Seeing how you're fuming here I guess you must have tilted pretty bad and that's when you'll play the worst...

Chill for a while and you'll be the one winning every pot. Thumbs Up

BTW, yes I have had this kind of moment and TBH I did let it get to me when I started playing poker. But once you realise that this is a sure way to lose money, you'll find a way to cope with it

You think you have it bad.

In a $20 MTT on PS.. 20 away from the money and sat in 4th place. Chipleader on my table..

I have AA in mid position. UTG raises to I re-raise. It folds around to him and he shoves.. I naturally cally..

I have AA

He turns over 10 10

FLOP A Q J...

Turn is a 3

You know whats coming on the river. I knew it straight away..

Sure enough he hits the K on the river. I am busted...

THAT is something to get mad about...

Been in those situations many times but you'll get used to it. Doesn't bother me much to lose a few buyings per session to worse players =)

I here you. I can't say exactly but I recently took a break from poker over the holidays and when I returned I had a down swing then took another week off. Now things have seemed to start working themselves back up again. I think you have to look at what's going on to have these types of swings. Anyway, have a good one.

Well I would recommend you take a break of the poker....Like forget abot that for a while.....get out, enjoy the life get wild....and when you feel good about yourself.....come back and play....and forget about that downswing....
good luck

It is normal to have a bad period. Stay away of the tables for a little period and then return.

Relax man Blink

Happens to me every game lately. It's not the game, it's the players that have gone to s**t. Every knob-end with a net connection is on a poker site or 12 these days. none , or very few of them, can actually play. it's become online Bingo really. Decent players are getting raped all over the pokerrooms.

You shouldn't even have bothered to put the "no" option in there, because I sincerely believe that EVERYONE has had one of those moments, and if they claim they haven't then I truly think they're liars, plain and simple.
Sure, no player is imune to this kind of feeling, the only important difference between a good and a bad player is how he deals with.
You can go on tilt and indeed say "f**k the game", and mostly they include (but don't even say it) "f**k the money" and just play on without thinking.
The good ones take a break, a deep breath, or even stop playing for the day, and later just start over with the best of spirits. Self-confidence, character and persistance are the keywords for a good player, and those who have these traits will make it through every rough patch.

Yes it happened and happens; not only when I lose money cracked with AA vs 810 allin preflop but when I see donkeys call with nothing, winning and shouting at me '' donk, you're a fish ''.... Big Smile Big Smile

Magatt, e chi sei, Dario Minieri ??? Big Smile Big Smile

Well, i have had these kinds of bad sessions, once lost in a heads up about 800$ and thought i would never play again, but took it down a notch to lower stakes and try to make some cash in the long run, not a quick hit and run.

yep s**t happens get used to it its the best anti-tilt solution
take a break ... empty the garage ,trow away junk and kick some junk aroud
the best anti-stress terapy
then get back on a table , poker is like life when you get sick you dont go to work you take care of yourself its the same here
you get sicked at the tables get a break take care of yourself and come back stronger than ever

I think there is a misconception here...people getting outdrawn whine all the time about how "donks play bad" and so on and so on. But poker is not like chess. In chess, you make idiotic moves, you lose. In poker, you make idiotic moves, you may win. Therefore you have to *adjust* to people making donk moves. Rule #1: don't make the pot enormous with mediocre hands. And yes, AA on a non-rainbow board can be a mediocre hand against these type of players. Don't let the pot balloon too much, control it; at least you won't lose that much when you get out-rape-drawn

Very good advice. I do that when I am beginning to be on tilt...
