Yes the government has a lot to do with it. I am from the US and believe me, it's not that the poker sites don't want your business because they all do. They would love the potential to be able to make there poker rooms grow.

GabeKaplan - I removed your 888Poker review. It's really not fair that you give them 1 out of 10 in rating when you can't even play there. And besides, it's your own government's fault that US players are almost nowhere to be found anymore, not 888's.

It would suck to be in the US if you're playing online poker. I guess its unfortunate that you might need to actually deposit and play on sites like Pokerstars or FTP where they offer their excellent support. That is if you wish to build a bankroll.

its great to have some sites who give u just real money to play without deposit and the chance to win more real money i play in some sites who have some free bonuses and i am very happy for it also i don't register every there u can get some 5 or 10 bucks for free just want more and play in that kind off sites there u can get 20 or more bucks

It's all your govt fault...which I really don't understand, since if they made it easier for people to join those sites, the revenue they could make out of income tax and so on would be huge...They could be doing this to alleviate the crisis, but noooo

I thin they are very nice. At the begining i used to think they were a scheme, but after i saw a couple of friends winning and withdrawing without ever deposit any, it just convinced me that was i wanted to do for living (its just not it yet, but perhaps when i get retired from my 9 to 5 job when i'm 65 i get to do it for living: nice retirement hein?).

I like them there a good way to get started in poker,and if done right can get some real cash,any ways I'm from canada and Im glad that I can get most offers, and I did get the 888 offer too,most rooms can't or won't allow us players,the risks for then to allow us players, is to big and hassle, that they don't want to deal with the politics of poker.....
Don't be sad, think of all italian players can't download most of sites of BRM list Anyway there are tons of freerolls if you want to spend some hours playing poker
If you are someone who is tempted by these kind of promotions, you'll soon have a list of all the poker rooms in the world. It simply is a sign-up gimmick, and usually with lots of very fine print going with it. I don't care about them. I only sometimes take action on some offers made by affiliate sites like BRM. At least that's a more long-term committment.

It's not good to read posts here... 50% sound the same... read other post so you don't need to say same ^^. About "free cash" ... they always have repay for that ^^. In most free money u can't withdraw them until u will make more cash then u got ^^. But it's nice to start on some site without deposit and check out it... to bad 888 it's quite bad site with much Regs~ :<
