''The Dom'' Slowly Crawling Back  0
After the month Januari which my first month was without any profit, was even down $200, i was littl bit blasted and lost faith in my game. Gettin horrible 2 and 3 outers at my face, but mostly (i have to be honest) i didnt play my best game. I plat DoNs a lot and there is a thin line between shove where u have to fold and fold where u have to shove. Played too agressiv where i just had to find the fold button and to passiv where i had to be the agressor.

Anyway i found my leaks and tried to better them. Last 10 days went ok, however its a very small sample size, but i am more satisfied about my game, offcourse allways can do better and yeh trying to find more leaks.

Here is a graph off my last 10 days, only SNG, there is a MTT $5 rebuy missing in which i cashed for $60 not much considering a spewtard on the Final Table called my shove AK with A6 with both middle stacks, needless to say he did win the tourney for $450, anyway he was french that explains Tongue

good job Thumbs Up
but my question is how did u find your leaks?
you said in DoNs there's a thin line between shove and fold (I agree) and so haw can u know if it is only bad luck or if it is due to bad play?

Read poker strategy articles and look over handhistories usually reveals leaks. Such as making certain move and look back and you'll be surprised when you see the silly things you did and you then ask yourself why?

Then you realise you made the mistake and correct it Smile

Nice 1 mate Cool always the best feeling to break out of a downswing. I was having one of my own last week after moving up to NL25 and constantly beiing coolered on horror rivers after getting it in as a huge fav, but today i was on fire, went on a serious heater n made 7 buyins at NL10 after just 600 hands, anyway back to the tables. Good luck all Cool

It's for sure that you've found how to solve your leaks ... How do you do that? Analyzing your trackings? How did you identify them? Maybe we all can learn a lot from you ... and perhaps you can help us to solve our leaks too Blink

Well i can only speak for myself but when i dont make profit for a month on DoNs i do sometin wrong and cant blame the badbeats. Finding leaks for me is looking at HH at points where i lost a big amount off chips or at the ends wot went wrong with my ICM play, was if just bad luck or bad play? There is a thin line between push and fold at the correct time (ICM) Pushing UTG with AQ can be very bad but pushin with any 2 cards from SB can be very good. So mostly i look at my ICM play finding leaks.

Goodluck Smile

well done getting back on track after a downswing.
sometimes when you just can't win you know it is the time to take a small break, analyse your game and find leaks to improve your game.
